Safely Deodorize Your Trash Can

Here is a super easy quick trick to safely deodorize your stinky trash can

Let’s face it, that kitchen trash can get awful stinky.

Especially when the kids aren’t paying attention and there’s a hole in the bottom of the bag.

You know what happens next. Icky sticky stuff leaks, and hardens, onto the bottom of the trashcan.

Growing more and more odiferous by the day.

Take back your trash can and deodorize it with this simple hack.
Cut a regular kitchen sponge in half
Add a little water to moisten the sponge
Add 2-3 drops of your favorite essential oil blend
Squeeze the sponge a little to distribute the oil
Place in the bottom of the trashcan before adding a liner bag

Reapply essential oil as needed

If the sponge gets hit by the dreaded liner bag leakage no worries. Simply toss it in your washing machine to clean it and start over
